Kameo 2

The sequel to the 2005 Xbox 360 launch game was under development at Rare. Though it was never officially announced but a video which showed some animations of Kameo was spotted at neogaf.

Necessary Force

Necessary Force was under development for the Xbox 360, PC and the PS3 at Midway Newcastle. The game can be compared to the likes of Saint Row and Grand Theft Auto, but unfortunately Midway Newcastle shut it’s doors in August 2009 and the project had to be shelved. Check the video below.

Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings

Why does this game remind me so much of Uncharted? Or perhaps both protagonists are treasure hunters and we love treasure hunting? Anyways, Indiana Jones was first announced in 2005 and was written by George Lucas himself. Judging by the video below, the game was turning out to be pretty good but was canned due to severe quality issues.

The Witcher: Rise of the White Wolf

The Witcher was also under development for the consoles under the sub-title Rise of the White Wolf. The game was meant to be the best version and was enhanced pixel by pixel for the consoles. But financial issues between CD Projekt RED STUDIO and Widescreen Games gave rise to the cancellation of the project.

Ascendant

Ascendant was a third person fantasy RPG and was under development by Big Huge Games and published by THQ. The game was due on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. But when THQ decided to do some cost cutting, Ascendant suffered since THQ would no longer support the game. However in 2009 Curt Schilling’s 38 Studious bought the team and it seems that game might be under development.
