Castlevania Lords of Shadow: New Info and Screens

Castlevania Lords of Shadow is clearly looking like it is indeed going to be one of the major surprises this year. We have got some juicy new information and new screens for the game. At Konami’s Gamer Night 2010 , David Cox, Producer of the game revealed new information about the game. Here they are:

  • Gabriel, the protagonist of the game, will have to investigate about a dark spell which is not letting the souls of the dead to leave the world
  • During his investigation he finds out that each of the Lords of Shadow holds a piece of holy relic, which is the mask and has the power to bring back the dead
  • Zobic one of the characters that features in the game is an ally of the protagonist which gives him advice on the various platforming sections found in the game and will be voiced by Patrick Stewarts
  • David Cox also stated that the game’s visuals will be comparable to God of War 3
  • The game will have 50 stages and will have game play time close to 15 hours
  • You will be facing Shadow of the Colossus like bosses in the game which have been given the name of “Titan”
  • The game will have four secondary weapons in addition to the main weapon, all of which can be upgraded
  • You will hear familiar music and fight many similar enemies  from the 2D era of Castlevania
  • The game will be playable at E3
