2K and Fireaxis Games Reveal Sid Meier’s Ace Patrol for the iOS

2K and Fireaxis Games have announced Sid Meier’s Ace Patrol for the iOS with a release date of May 9th, 2013. The game will be downloadable for free i.e. at zero cost.

Sid Meier’s Ace Patrol will be a turn-based strategy game that is based on World War 1 dog-fighting  Players will take control of WWI fighter planes. There will be up to 30 different models to choose from and the game will contain more than 120 missions in single player mode. Act Patrol will also feature multiplayer mode where you can battle others players via the Game Center.

In the single-player campaign mode, players will be able to build up a perfect team of aircraft and upgrade them with new abilities.

It is currently unknown on which iOS devices will the game support, no confirmation of any in-app purchases either.
