3DS Continues Rule Over Japan’s Software Charts

The 3DS’s dominance in Japan doesn’t seem likely to end any time soon, especially when you consider the sheer number of mega hits that the system churns out on an almost monthly basis at this point. So really, does it surprise you to see that the top three games on the software charts are all 3DS games, all with ridiculous sales numbers.

Unlike all other weeks, though, what follows the top three is a lot more diverse than usual, with every system managing to get some representation in. Even the Xbox One exclusive Sunset Overdrive managed to chart in the top 20, giving its console a rare appearance in the sales charts.
