Activision’s Walking Dead FPS looks terrible

There’s no way to sugar coat this–just what is Activision doing? Have they even seen what they are creating? If not, they should, because the trailer they released for The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct looks like a game from 2001.

The visuals may probably not be the selling point, but this trailer does not really generate any confidence that this could actually turn out to be great. You can see zombies here who look bad, and not in a good way. The textures are all over the place and, the weapons don’t pack a punch. The stab that the due did felt like he was stabbing a paper zombie.

What the hell are you doing Activision? If this is intended to rival Telltale’s Walking Dead then it probably won’t succeed because their series is 95 on Metacritic, while this looks worse than Postal 3, which got a 1 score on GamingBolt.
