Armored Core Verdict Day: 42 War-Torn Screenshots Released

Mechs, mayhem and other things.

Armored Core returns with Verdict Day, the latest game in the popular mech simulator series from From Software (developer of Dark Souls I and II). Namco Bandai has released a ton of new screenshots for the game, which will be releasing in North America and Europe for Xbox 360 and PS3. Check them out below.

Armored Core: Verdict Day will breakaway from the typical campaign modes to feature a persistent online multiplayer mode wherein squads of 20 players each fight against each other to control territories as part of different factions. As a season of war concludes, progress resets and the war begins anew.

There’ll still be lots of mechs to upgrade and parts to purchase as players work to assemble the baddest squad of hulking metal monstrosities. Operator Mode, which allows players to command a squad from a top down perspective, returns, and players will even be able to use save data from the previous game to unlock new content.
