Assassin’s Creed 3 Mega Guide: Tips, Secrets, Crafting and more

Everything you need to know about the game.

Assassin’s Creed 3 is a massive game, so much that, you will actually feel there’s a lot to do and don’t know where to start. Ubisoft really has crammed the game with a lot of content, and in a way it makes the entire thing quite enjoyable if you take a deviation from the main missions which are quite lengthy as well, featuring 12 sequences.

We reviewed the game too and gave it a glowing 9/10 score.

“In which case, it is an incredible, vast, expansive game, with addictive gameplay, great atmosphere, no dearth of content, one that will keep you busy for a while, and one that will have you genuinely pondering the implications of its story for a long time to come,” wrote our author pramath.

“In the end, that is the mark of a great game.”

I agree, and here’s an in-depth guide to make it easier for you to collect all the things in the game and make Connor a beastly character loaded with money.

The game brings a lot of new things to the franchise and some may find it difficult to follow it well due to the awful UI, which really confuses you. There are Homestead missions, naval missions, liberation missions and much more.

The PS3 version contains more trophies but they’re from the additional expansion pack that is timed exclusive to the system. Most of these achivements are pretty straightforward and require you to just pay attention to what you’re doing. Maxing everything out and getting all achievements will be difficult because some of them are collectibles and they can be time consuming. However, we have made guides for that as well.

Almanac Pages Guide

Almanac Pages are something that you can find scattered across the land in each of the locations found in the game.

They aren’t something that give you special powers or something but they do increase your completion to 100% and net you an achievement. It’s not hard to get all of them, there are 36 in total with 20 found in Boston.

We have the video walkthroughs for Boston and New York, the other locations are pretty straightforward to find. It just requires some platforming to get them since they vanish if you lose sight of them for a while.

They’re not incredibly tricky but some of them could be a bit difficult to get to in time as they fly away from one building to another, and if you fall on the ground, you have to retry.

While doing missions, you can find most of them on the map so you can attempt them later. Keep some time dedicated for this as you can do it really quickly when you just have them in mind, and yes, you need all the area explored so, get to the viewpoints as well.

Feather Locations Guide

Feathers are something you also found in the previous Assassin’s Creed games, and they were sort of easier to get but quite large in number. It’s the same here too and just like the Almanac Pages, you gotta do some platforming to get some of them.

A few of them are annoying, especially ones on a tree since climbing that can be a pain sometimes. There are 50 feathers in total and they can be found in the frontier are which is where you have this vast land with a lot of things to do. It’s also one of the things that makes it so difficult to get them all.

However, we have a video showing the locations of all 50 feathers, again credit to PowerPyx.

Frontiersmen Missions

You can find these missions on the map where there will be a logo which says Frontiersmen. They are difficult to finish and will require a lot of time on your part, but we have all the walkthroughs below so check them out.

You can check the title inside the videos.

This guide will be updated as soon as we find more information, so stay tuned…
