Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag Trailer Challenges You to Defy the Odds

Take to the seas and live the pirate life.

Edward Kenway and his merry crew of pirates love to drink – and the higher the chances of death on the high seas, the more they party. Ubisoft Montreal has released a new trailer for the upcoming Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag showcasing just what Edward and his flock must encounter and survive against. Needless to say, insanity all-around.

Every feature we’ve heard about or briefly glanced at for Black Flag such as whaling, boarding ships, capturing fortresses and waging full scale wars is dialed up to eleven for this trailer. If there was still doubt as to whether the game would be able to wipe away the bad taste that Assassin’s Creed III left us with, this clearly helps to wipe it away.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is set to release on October 29th for Xbox 360, Wii U, PC and PS3, with next gen releases for the PS4 and Xbox One due when the consoles launch.
