Battlefield 4 beta receives brand new details.

EA have released a new video, in which FTW’s Matt Cuttle interviews Battlefield 4 executive producer, Patrick Bach about the Beta release of the upcoming installment in the Battlefield series.

The focus for the Beta is to give gamers a look at what they can hope to expect from the full game. This beta will offer players the opportunity to check out Frostbite 3, Levolution, and Amphibious Assault in the Siege of Shanghai map. Both Conquest and Domination Modes will be playable.

In addition to providing a fun beta experience, Bach also spoke to the fact that an equally important aspect of this beta launch is to get feedback from the Battlefield 4 gaming community, to see what can be tweaked and improved upon before the game’s full release, which is slated for November 1st, 2013.

The game’s beta will run exclusively on current generation consoles; however, the feedback will be incorporated into the next gen versions of the game.

The beta will be available for anyone to take part in starting October 4th, however, Battlefield 3 premium members will be able to take the first crack at the beta, with an exclusive window which opens October 1st.
