Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots

Developer: Kojima Productions
Publisher: Konami

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots stays true to the franchise with awesome stealth gameplay mechanics and a fantastic storyline. This time around Snake is experiencing accelerated aging with only a year left to live, but he doesn’t stir away from taking on an assignment to locate and terminate Liquid Ocelot.

Talking about the visuals, there seems to be a clear division between the one we saw during TGS 2005 and the one we played in 2008. The TGS build was running on a PS3 dev kit, showcased amazing alpha and volumetric effects, and detailed character models. I am not sure who is at fault here. The TGS build was running on a preliminary PS3 hardware that was better than the final PS3 retail units, so Sony is probably at fault here. But Konami should not have showcased something which is not finalized yet.
