Bioshock Infinite: ‘No platform’s going to be the better platform’

Posted By | On 26th, Jun. 2011

Admit it or not, Bioshock Infinite was one of the most alluring games that we saw in action at this year’s E3 and is set to rule the roost when it releases in 2012 on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.

Nowadays with so many games going multiplatform, it’s obvious that certain gamers will question about the superior version.

In an intersting interview with Ausgamers, Shawn Robertson, Lead Artist on BioShock: Infinite has revealed that no platform is going to be a better platform and the game is being designed to utilize the strengths of each.

No platform’s going to be the “better platform”. We certainly.. if you look at what we did with BioShock One when we released on Xbox and PC, we had different designers working on different elements for PC versus Xbox — treating it like working to the strengths of each console. So we’re going to be releasing on PS3, Xbox and PC in 2012, so we’ll have different people thinking about the different strengths or weaknesses of each console.

So there you have it. If you are a single platform owners then there is no need to worry. You will still be getting a pretty awesome version of Bioshock Infinite.
