Black Desert Online

Pearl Abyss’s action MMO Black Desert Online is still kicking and offering a new expansion to entice lapsed players back in. This is actually part 2 of the Valencia expansion and includes more territory to the east and south of Valencia. Players will also be able to unlock the first awakening. Check out the launch trailer and awakening video below.

Along with battling Karanda the Harpy Queen, you’ll also explore dungeons like the Aakman Temple and Hystria Ruins which promise to test your cooperation with other players. Fans of mounts will also have a baby elephant at their disposal. There are plenty of new places to go including Arehaza (a fishing town) and Muiquun (occupied by outlaws). Two new world bosses will also be added in September – the Desert Dragon Nouverand and Kutum, a sandworm.

As for the first awakening, it essentially allows Warriors with swords and shields to utilize greatswords. What are your thoughts on Black Desert Online’s latest content drop? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more.
