Atomic Games, a developer of simulations for US military and intelligence agencies and a pioneer in military action games, announced today the release of a new update for Breach on Xbox LIVE. The update is available immediately and can be downloaded by simply starting the game.

Breach now offers a full 60 minutes of playing time for free, and all demo clocks have been reset so all players can master the game’s unique Active Cover and Destruction capabilities. This is one hour of destruction in convoy, sole-survivor, hardcore and any of the modes on any of the maps. Improving the game even further, this update reduces lag significantly.

We reviewed the game and found it to be great. Check it out here.

i heard it wasnt that great of a game, but who can argue with a free 60 minute trial. as long as it doesnt list the game as 0/200 achievements, like the ps3 does with its 60 minute trials. i have a damn 0% of trophies for prototype now on my account that i can’t get rid of.

it really isn’t all that impressive ..really if you have played counterstrike then you will know what the game feels like ….mind you that it’s counterstrike pre 1.6 ….then after all that throw in some red faction-esk / frostbite-esk tek and there you go.

tried breach with the ps move, and was not impressed. demo i played was only 45 minutes, i guess they want to extend the demo because not many people are trying it. besides when i tried it, i spent like 10 minutes trying to get into a match and most of the time the matches it got me into were over by the time i joined, so very negative experience for me.

i dont think you are thinking of the same game. the review says it’s only for PC and Xbox. the game you are thinking about is Modern Combat: Domination. i played it last month for the 45 min. it was kinda fun, but ps move with killzone 3 has far superior controls.

@Dh you were right, i looked up the games and they’re completely different in the sense that is not the same game, but its the same genre. Good looking out. I just saw the cover and since the one on the psn has a 45 minute trial i got confused and thought it was the same game. Thanks Aqua Out!!!

it seems like a really good idea doing this, maybe other developpers could learn something from them, could be a good way to improve single player campaigns n get longer games

im glad they are being a bit more friendly with the time limit ..because for those who like the game the original time limit was just not enough to try the game and be sure it was worth the money.
