There have been concerns regarding Bungie not releasing review copies for Destiny till the end of this week until the public servers are live. Bungie community manager David “Deej” Dague attempted to explain why this was the case on the Bungie Weekly Update

“We fully anticipate seeing day one reviews from folks who decide to kick the tires, but don’t have the time or patience to take our ride for a nice, long road trip. Some of you might wait to pick up a copy until you read the final verdict from your most trusted review house. We’re okay with that. We’ve created something we’re proud of.”

According to Dague, there were plans to have a higher population in the game for reviewers prior to release but these were nixed since Bungie decided the live version would provide a superior experience. This ties into the developer believing the best way to play Destiny is with other people in a highly populated world.

Do you agree with the reasoning? Regardless, Destiny is out tomorrow so we’ll see what the world thinks in a few short hours.

Makes sense and anyone who was skeptical about the quality of the game could have played the beta If they wanted to.

Say what you want, believe if you may …but it’s suspect to me , so what they’re saying is , the single player cant stand on it’s own 2 feet …”DO YOU UNDERSTAND THAT” and I played the beta , alpha and all not impressed then and now I smell a rat .

Oh for the love of god. I’m quickly growing tired of your constant hater attitude.

      Think whatever you want.
