Bungie’s Destiny Will Feature Updated Dialogue for Peter Dinklage’s Ghost

That wizard came from the moon...no more?

29. Destiny

Bungie will be holding a beta in July for those who pre-ordered Destiny – with PlayStation players getting earlier access – and there could be more improvements over the alpha than you’d think. In fact, the only real criticism anyone had with the game was the odd and often underwhelming dialog from the AI companion Ghost, voiced by Peter Dinklage.

Bungie is already working on the same though, as indicated in its Weekly Update. “The Ghost dialog has already been updated for Beta. It will be updated again for launch on September 9th, as well..

“Funny thing about Alpha builds…they’re not done. Please pardon our Moon dust!”

It’s been unspecified how the dialog will be improved in this update but at the very least, Bungie can identify with gamers’ complaints. Maybe there will be better editing to ensure lines like “that wizard came from the moon” won’t be randomly spouted during Strike missions?

Destiny is currently scheduled to release on September 9th for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4. Are you getting into the beta? Let us know in the comments.
