We suppose it was inevitable.

GameStop has announced that those who pre-order Sledgehammer Games’ Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare from the retailer will be able to receive a level 20 Legendary Blacksmith Armour Shader for Bungie’s Destiny. Both games are published by Activision so this effectively allows for cross-game promotion. And here we thought Activision would get away without being able to exploit such a hing.

The Armour Shader essentially allows you to modify your Guardians’ outfit with gunmetal, metallic silver and brass yellow shades. Along with this, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare pre-orders will also receive zero day access (essentially early access to the game before it’s official release) and the Advanced Arsenal weaponry.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare may be due on November 4th for PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC but Bungie’s Destiny will be out on September 9th for PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360. Stay tuned for more information on the latter in the coming weeks.
