Call of Duty Black Ops 3

Treyarch’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 has received a significant new update with patch 1.04. Along with adding new features and balance changes, it also adds micro-transactions to the game.

These are through Call of Duty Points which you can spend money on to acquire Rare Supply Drops for multiplayer or Vials of Liquid Dinivium for Zombies. You can also use these Points to buy cosmetic items and unlock additional character slots. Each player has 200 Points to start with for free and must pay money for more.

The patch did add some interesting new features though. You can now join a friend’s game in progress, new Prestige icons have been added, custom game functionality now supports official Custom Game variants and Custom Games can now be saved. There are also three new secondary weapons to use with the Butterfly Knife, Wrench and Brass Knuckles. For the entire patch notes, head here.
