Infinity Ward has released a new infographic for the Call of Duty series, with multiplayer and gameplay figures collected from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare till now. What do the stats say?

According to Infinity Ward, there are roughly 100 million people who have played Call of Duty, which is larger than the population of countries like Germany, France, UK and Italy. Roughly 32.3 quadrillion shots have been fired till now with 31 billion care packages called in for since Modern Warfare 2. Over 5 billion cars have been destroyed in the game and players have spent a total of 25 billion hours or 2.85 million years playing the Call of Duty.

Which is apparently longer than the entirety of human existence. Oh, the humanity (literally).

Will such numbers help Infinity Ward with its next release, Call of Duty: Ghosts? We’ll find out when the game releases worldwide on November 5th for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, with Xbox One and PlayStation 4 releases due for later.

how about an infographic to show how many people started playing the game and how many people that left the game after people started hacking PS3 and XBOX servers. Then the results a few years later where those issues still haven’t been fixed. Then another infographic showing estimated time till COD Ghosts will be hacked.
