Call of Duty Vita confirmed, releasing in autumn

Posted By | On 20th, Feb. 2012

Call of Duty Vita was announced a long time back, but since then, no one at all has really even mentioned it, and we didn’t even know if it still existed. However, SCEA’s new SVP of PlayStation brand marketing, Guy Longworth has confirmed that the game does indeed exist and that it will be out this autumn.

“Of course in the autumn, they’re really looking forward to Call of Duty on Vita,” he said while talking to GameTrailers, saying that his sons were FPS fans, “and we think that’s going to be an absolute game-changer for the platform.”

He didn’t say what the game exactly was, but we suspect it’ll be a port of last year’s Modern Warfare 3.

Stay tuned for more coverage.
