26. Dead Rising 3

Capcom has announced that the Xbox One exclusive Dead Rising 3 has shipped 1 million units as of December 20th 2013 – nearly a month after it released. Though this doesn’t indicate the number of units sold through, it does indicate the demand and just how popular the game is with retailers.

Also, given that it’s been more than a month, it’s highly possible that current shipped unit numbers are higher. Nonetheless, Capcom celebrated the milestone and stated that Dead Rising 3 is their 62nd title to ship 1 million units.

Dead Rising 3 also saw its first DLC pack land yesterday. Operation Eagle adds a new character, new mission, new vehicle and tons of new items – though skimps on co-op gameplay – and followed a 13 GB patch that fixed issues with the game.

Really solid game. The Xbox One launch was so diverse and it was fun going from something as impressive as Ryse, to Forza 5 and then to Dead Rising 3. Love, love, love how Microsoft handled their launch.

This game revitalized the Dead Rising franchise, I absolutely loved it.

  • You are flat out wrong

Unsurprising considering it was the only decent Xbone launch game.

Still, that’s the price of having a dead 360 release schedule for the last two-ish years..
