Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 Shown Off to Press in Madrid

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 producer Dave Cox recently tweeted about the game being shown off to press in Madrid. It could have easily been a closed door event with its own embargo but Cox couldn’t resist showing a screenshot of the main title screen (which you can see above).

Of course, this is significant because it means that it could be shown off to the general public and interwebs soon enough. It’ll be interesting to see how the game ships up – ever since the first Lords of Shadow, the only real interaction we’ve had with the series has been through the recent 3DS interlude Mirror of Fate.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow is due to release this year for Xbox 360 and PS3. It continues the tale of Gabriel Belmont, who unfortunately found himself on the wrong end of being Dracula in the first game, and has since returned as the protagonist here.
