Castlevania: Lords of Shadow October Release Date Not Official, Just A Speculation, Says Konami

Posted By | On 21st, Jul. 2010

Konami just told Eurogamer that no date has officially been announced for Konami’s next Castlevania 3D title, which is due for release on the XBox 360 and the PS3. A Konami spokesperson says the October release date should be dismissed as mere “speculation”.

Konami’s playng smart, not releasing Catlevania: Lords of Shadow in October, as there will be several other huge (as in HUGE) releases this holiday season, and this being one of Konami’s biggest games this year, they don’t want it to flop and its sales to suffer.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow will be developed by Kojima, who is also working on a new Metal Gear Solid title (MGS: Rising), as of now.
