Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Ultimate Edition Announced for PC

The Lords re-emerge this August on Steam and retail.

Konami has announced that Mercury Steam’s Castlevania: Lords of Shadow will be heading to PC on August 27th for Steam and August 30th for retail. It will be packaged as the Ultimate Editions and contain various new features to further entertain those who haven’t experienced the adventures of Gabriel Belmont when the game first released on consoles in 2010.

The game is meant to be a retelling of the classic Castlevania story with Belmont fighting against the forces of darkness inherent with the Lords of Shadow and being guided by his corporeal wife towards his destiny. And spoiler alert, but it’s not exactly the rosiest of scenarios.

As for extra content, players can look forward to enhanced graphics like 1080p resolution and a 60 frames per second frame rate along with Steam trophy integration and Cloud saves. The Reverie and Resurrection DLC packs will also be included along with a new Lords of Shadow storyline.

There will also be new weapons such as the Combat Cross; new Titan Battles; and new routes and levels to explore which hold their own secrets.
