Ubisoft’s Child of Light is now available for PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U and PC. It’s one of the more amazing games of the year but there have been complaints that the Normal difficulty is a little too easy. Writer Jeffrey Yohalem spoke to Joystiq and said that Ubisoft Montreal will be changing up the difficulty names in the future to better indicate their meaning.

“In a patch that’s coming up, we’re changing the names to ‘casual’ and ‘expert’. This has been an issue, obviously, that some people have had, and I think that the word ‘normal’ is a misrepresentation. Or, rather, implying that there’s one way to play that’s normal is, I think, too strong.”

Normal will now be Casual and it will be “for people that want to experience the world and experience the adventure without having hard combat.” Expert will replace Hard and be “for people who love RPGs and who want to really have a challenge”.
