Child's Play

Child’s Play has seen a successful run since starting in 2003 but the past year has arguably been it’s most successful year yet. In 2013, it raised $7.6 million along with other health organisations the world over.

The official site states that, “$7.6 million. It’s absolutely mind boggling. Ten years ago, we wouldn’t have believed it possible. That’s more than the cumulative total for the first six years of Child’s Play, raised in the last 12 months.

“Not only have you been able to support our growing network of hospitals, but we’re also been able to expand our initiatives and benefit children in domestic violence shelters. In 2014 that program will move past the pilot program to encompass facilities across the country and provide them with vital resources to support the kids they see every day.”

Child’s Play has managed to raise a strong total of $25,196,670 in the past ten years and the new year seems like it will be even bigger. Stay tuned for more updates in the coming months.

Developers celebrates Chinese New Year with cards

8-4, the video game localization corporation posted lots of cards to celebrate Chinese New Year.

Cards are themed around the year’s Chinese zodiac animal – in this case, a horse. This year, designer Takenori Kimoto, also known as Kimo Kimo, designed 8-4’s card, which you can view above.

“We had the honor of having the one, the only, Mr. Kimo Kimo of Comcept – character designer on numerous Capcom arcade classics as well as The Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap and of course Mighty No. 9 – design our card and immortalize us in his unique style (along with some other familiar faces fans of Mighty No. 9 might recognize),” the post reads.

Probe into Why Teemo Is Played in LCS

    S4, LCS, C9, TSM, Teemo

C9 fought with TSM during the LCS North America Week One. To our surprise, C9 played Teemo as the mid solo. You know, we always think it’s no good to play Teemo in tournaments or advanced ranked games, but C9 did achieve some successes with Teemo. At the 38th minute of the game, Teemo’s mushroom consumed about 1/3 HP of any enemy, including TSM’s two tanks Nasus and Nunu.
