In the midst of Battlefield 1 hogging the world’s attention, it’s easy to forget about another big time release out this week – Firaxis’ Civilization 6, which is now available to pre-load through Steam. Check out the launch trailer below featuring Christopher Tin’s Sogno di Volare as the score.

Besides featuring a new visual style, Civilization 6 will see players create their own empire and attempt to rule the world. You’ll lead your civilization from the Stone Age all the way through the modern age, eventually warring with information and data. Options like diplomacy, war, science, culture and much more can be invested in throughout your empire’s reign. Don’t be surprised if you come across other famous leaders looking to best you though.
