Crytek has released a new trailer which shows off what to expect from next-gen graphics. It looks amazing and showcases some technology like: character shading, tessellation, character tessellation, ocean tessellation, advanced particle shading, real time reflections and enhanced lighting effects, alembic point cache support, Catmull-Clark compliant SubD surfaces and real time approximated area lights.

Phew!

Crytek created the original Crysis for the PC and it was an audio-visual masterpiece, and their new game Crysis 2 features more technological improvements since it ran on their latest CryEngine 3.

So check out this new video, and get hyped for next-gen graphics. Tell us what you think in the comments section below.
