Access Games has revealed that its upcoming Xbox One exclusive D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die will be releasing on September 19th for Xbox Live at $14.99. Yes, that’s tomorrow and no, there hasn’t been any prior indication that this would be happening.

The game comes from the warped mind of Hidetaka ‘Swery’ Suehiro who is known for his work on Deadly Premonition. Tomorrow’s release will include the game’s prologue and two beginning episodes. Kinect isn’t required to pull off the gestures showcased in the game, which is a relief considering the motion camera is no longer bundled with most consoles, and more content is reportedly on the way.

Check out the launch trailer for D4 above and marvel at some of the stranger things going on above. Will you be picking up D4 tomorrow for the Xbox One? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below and stay tuned for more information from TGS 2014.

That’s an ugly move from Microsoft lol. They aren’t even advertising this game. In my rationale, Phil doesn’t want Kinect games being HEAVILY associated with Xbox One. I don’t think he hates these games, it would be dumb to think so, but I imagine he’s responding to the negative perception of Xbox 1 being a gimmick, with motion games and such. Irrefutibly, he does want the Xbox 1 seen as a core gaming system.

But he and Microsoft are ill advised not to market this game. They did have a Kinect game with its own showing during E3, but they should know people are genuinely excited for their exclusives, and that they should advertise unique games on the system. I’d blast them if I were Access Games. I’m buying this just for support lol. Should be fun too. Let’s see if D4 makes it onto the Xbox dashboard for recognition.
