All your builds will still be viable.

Dark Souls 3

Dark Souls 3, the third entry in From Software’s flagship action RPG franchise, is launching later this year. The new game promises to liven up the series by taking several cues from Bloodborne, the PlayStation 4 exclusive title that From released last year, and speeding up the combat. However, that has always been something that has demanded some answers- unlike Bloodborne, which relied on up close combat using melee weapons and complementary firearms, Dark Souls has always incorporated a full range of weapons into the fold- swords and shields, yes, but also bows and arrows, daggers, and magic and staves. How would this translate to the upcoming Dark Souls 3?

The answer? Pretty well, it appears. Today, we got to see a brand new section of Dark Souls 3 gameplay, thanks to PGMadeira, and the new footage shows us plenty of dagger and bow gameplay. It seems like in spite of the multiple changes the new game is looking to introduce, Dark Souls 3 will still allow as many viable builds as previous entries in the series have.

Dark Souls 3 is due out on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in April.
