DayZ creator’s new studio is called RocketWerkz

Let's see what he brings us next!

DayZ

The creator of DayZ, Dean Hall, naturally holds some cred in the gaming world. It does follow- he created an extensive mod to Arma II, and in the process, one of the most popular multiplayer experiences of our day. So what he does next is something that interests a lot of people. Us included.

As it turns out, he has created a new studio, RocketWerks, and it is based out of Dublin, New Zealand, at least to begin with. Hall made this announcement on Twitter, where he announced the founding of the studio, and also basically invited anybody with the requisite skill set to apply for a job if they were interested.

It does make sense- back in June, Hall had told Eurogamer he had already started hiring people for his new studio, and that it had a name. “I do have a name but I haven’t registered the trademark so I don’t want to say what it is. It’s got Rocket in it, I’ll say that much.”

It turns out he wasn’t lying after all!

May his next project be as crazy successful and influential as DayZ.
