Dead Don’t Ride by Sony Bend Is Apparently An Open World Game With Black Humor, Not Coming This Year- Rumor

So like Dead Rising, then.

We’ve been hearing about Dead Don’t Ride, which is apparently going to be the next game that Sony’s Bend team will put out, for a while now. We’ve known that the game will be a zombie action game, thanks to some leaks by well placed insiders. And now, we are hearing that the game will in fact be an open world game, with an emphasis on black humor and comedy- which sort of sounds to me a lot like Capcom’s Dead Rising franchise.

It also sounds as though the game, whatever it is, will not be launching in 2016- instead, it seems as though the earliest release date we can expect for this game may be next year. While I am sure that will be a bummer to many who wanted Bend’s next title now, it does make sense that Sony will want to focus on The Last Guardian and Gran Turismo Sport for this year.

Dead Don’t Ride has not yet been officially  announced. We expect to see more of it at E3 this year.
