It’s been a little while now since Destiny: The Taken King officially added emotes and it doesn’t appear as though Bungie is resting on its laurels. A new report by Eurogamer indicates the company is taking a second look at just how those emotes should be used in the game. At the same time, it doesn’t appear as though there are going to be big changes to the kinds of things you can do with these emotes, but there are going to be some changes to how they are used once you get them.

The website sat down with Bungie’s Derek Carroll in order to take about all things Destiny but there was certainly mention of the emotes as well. The website asked Carroll as to whether or not the company had thought about giving players more slots for their emotes. Carroll answered, “That’s definitely something we’re looking at – I’ve heard rumblings. Nothing to announce on that but we’re looking at expanding that and maybe rethinking how emotes are done in the game, they’ve definitely been a fan favorite.”

The company has largely made the Taken King a way for them to work on Destiny and make that game a title Bungie can really be proud of. It seems as though they are trying to listen to gamers more and make a product people are going to want to jump in and play. We’ll just have to stay tuned to find out just when the changes to Destiny: The Taken King hit.
