Destiny Companion App Receives A Ton of New Screenshots

It's pretty basic, but it's there.

Second screen gaming is a thing these days- almost every major AAA release worth a damn gets at the very least a companion app for smartphones and tablets to go with it, or, if nothing else, support for Xbox SmartGlass/PlayStation Vita/Wii U Off TV Play. So it should come as no surprise to you that Destiny, the upcoming MMO shooter from Bungie, will also be getting a companion app of its own.

It’s fairly basic, really- it syncs up to record your K/D ratio, mission progress, weapons and stats, and more. It will also have a lore book, that will fill up as you discover more and more of the game world.

The app was made available only to PlayStation 4 alpha testers last week, although it should be available to any player across any of the four platforms that Destiny releases on.

Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage of the game.
