Bungie may be revealing yet another aspect of its House of Wolves expansion for Destiny tonight ahead of its release in two weeks but the developer could already be planning its next expansion for the online shooter.

A trademark emerged today (courtesy of NeoGAF) for “The Taken King” with the filing identifying it as “downloadable video games via the Internet and wireless devices” among other things. The mark showcased in the above image could mean several things though it bears a strong resemblance to the marks the Hive use.

Some speculate that this could be the major expansion that arrives for Destiny in Fall 2015, which has been referred to as “Plague of Darkness” courtesy of leaked slides several months ago. This is the same expansion which will reportedly include a new raid, new subclasses and several new missions and Strikes. Again, this is only speculation so don’t get your hopes up.

Meanwhile, House of Wolves will be releasing on May 19th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Stay tuned for more information as we cover tonight’s live-stream.
