After going down at 10 AM PST for server maintenance, Bungie’s Destiny will be back up at 1 PM PST for players. Those hoping to resume raiding, grinding and hunting for that elusive Gjallarhorn at the promised 12 PM PST time will need to wait a bit longer.

Bungie had also revealed before the weekly refresh that its much-anticipated patch 1.1.1 would be arriving later this week. The news was interesting considering most hot fixes and patches deployed by the developer took place on Tuesdays to account for the refresh but the recent maintenance may have been prioritised instead.

Patch 1.1.1 will add some interesting features to the game – along with buffing pulse rifles and adjusting many other weapons, it will introduce a new interface to check one’s faction reputation without needing to return to the tower, matchmaking for Weekly Heroic Strikes and a long-awaited fix for heavy ammo loss. Stay tuned for more details on the patch when it arrives.
