Bungie’s Destiny is doing pretty well these days. Sure, it may not exactly be delivering oodles of unique content, matchmaking for every activity or a million other issues but it’s not dying in a dumpster fire like The Division. That being said, one glitch that’s been haunting players for a while has been the hit detection on melee attacks. Just ask Bladedancers and Strikers how often their melees have been connecting.

The developer finally addressed these issues in its weekly update with sandbox engineer Jon Cable noting that the causes for the same – networking problems and a few bugs – would be coming on May 10th, 10 AM PST. Feedback on the same will be monitored of course to ensure things go smoothly.

Another patch is coming on May 3rd, 10 AM PST for fixing bugs associated with “a few chests, quests and rewards – nothing major”. Sounds a little too low-key to be honest but we’ll see for ourselves when the patch arrives.
