Bungie’s Destiny received an update yesterday which weighed in at 296 MB and was available for PlayStation 4. While it didn’t seem to add anything at fist, Bungie later revealed that along with network and stability improvements, you can now rest assured that public events will happen twice as often. So if you’re annoyed at the sheer barrenness of some areas, this will hopefully make things livelier.

Bungie also stated that this update will only be part of numerous changes coming to the game and there will be bigger updates in the coming months. Making public events happen more often is a smart decision since players will be busy exploring the open world and grinding for loot as opposed to experiencing the campaign again.

The update should be available for Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PS3 by now. What are your thoughts on Destiny thus far, especially with the Vault of Glass raid being live? Let us know in the comments.
