New bounties also revealed.

Destiny Rise of Iron

Continuing Game Informer’s cover story of Destiny’s Rise of Iron expansion, it’s been revealed that Lord Saladin – purveyor of the Iron Banner – will sell something called Iron Engrams.

Don’t get too excited though. These are essentially Year 1 and 2 Iron Banner armour pieces for those who want to complete their sets. However, it was also revealed that Shiro-4, Cayde’s ally, will offer bounties throughout the expansion including axe kills in the Plaguelands, completing Archon’s Force encounters and much more. He’ll also have some class items that resemble Year 1 Iron Banner items.

In another interesting twist, Eververse will offer artifacts that add different filters to your game like the Golden Age Lens that makes everything appear in sepia. It’s not meant to be anything other than cosmetic (so take that as some proof that they will cost Silver).

As for the new Radiant Treasures, it seems Bungie will offer weapon ornaments for weapons like the Zhalo Supercell, Telesto, MIDA Multi-Tool and the Exotic Khvostov. Again, these will be RNG based like the current Sterling Treasures.

Destiny: Rise of Iron, meanwhile, is out on September 20th for Xbox One and PS4.
