Destiny_April Update

The weekly reset has come and gone for Bungie’s Destiny, bringing a new range of activities for players.

The Nightfall this week is The Blighted Chalice, the newest strike introduced with the April Update. Modifiers include Solar Burn, Brawler, Grounded and Match Game, making for an interesting combination given the number of enemies with Solar attacks and elemental shields. At least you can punch Malok at some point, right?

As for the Challenge of Elders, there’s Airborne and Exposure as modifiers for increased damage in the air and increased shields that recharge very slowly. The bonus modifiers for points is grenade kills so find a weapon with Army of One or Grenadier on it to wrack up those kills. Bosses include Noru’usk, Servant of Oryx, the Pilot Servitor and Sylok the Defiled. The King’s Fall Challenge mode focuses on Golgoroth this week so take part for a chance at high level loot.
