Destiny Xur Inventory for January 8th: No Backup Plans, Dragon’s Breath

Xur returns with another "meh" inducing inventory.

Destiny No Backup Plans

Enjoying your free Strange Coins and Motes of Light that Bungie gifted you in Destiny? Xur has come by the Tower, across from the Speaker’s room, with his usual range of Exotics. And you guessed it, there’s not much that’s new. Xur will be in the Tower until January 10th, 2 AM PDT.

The inventory this week is No Backup Plans (Titan gloves which trigger Force Barrier with shotgun kills); Knucklehead Radar (Hunter helm that keeps radar active, even when ADS, at all times); and Apotheosis Veil (Warlock helm which recovers health upon using your super). Each piece of gear is available for 13 Strange Coins.

The Exotic weapon is Dragon’s Breath though this Exotic rocket launcher now drops a carpet of napalm as opposed to a Solar grenade. It can be yours for 23 Strange Coins. If you still lack Gjallarhorn, then the Legacy Engram is a Heavy weapon, available for 31 Strange Coins.

Check out the rest of Xur’s inventory here, which includes Heavy Ammo Synths, Glass Needles (for re-rolling Exotic armour) and much more.
