Bungie’s Weekly Update for Destiny is out and along with acknowledging the teams that beat Crota’s End Hard Mode the day it came out, the developer also drew attention to one of the more coveted weapons in its universe: the Ice Breaker.

For those unaware, Exotic vendor Xur showed up last week with the Ice Breaker in toll. Given the amount of luck Guardians have had in getting it since missing out near launch time, there was a mad rush to obtain the Exotic Sniper Rifle. To that end, 1,143,320 Ice Breakers were purchased from Xur. That’s a total of 19,436,440 Strange Coins, which is equal to 2,159,604 Weekly Heroic Strikes at the highest difficulty (9 Strange Coins apiece).

The Weekly Update also announced the launch of the new Doubles Skirmish mode in Crucible, allowing two players to team up and face off against another duo. Gun skills are important since supers charge slower so check it out and see if it’s to your liking.
