e know that there were rumours of Diablo 3 running on consoles but Blizzard didn’t confirm the console version, however, at the Sony press conference where they officially revealed the PS4, Blizzard executive came on stage and announced the game for both the PS3 and the PS4.
This is certainly a surprising move by Blizzard, and they have termed it as a strategic partnership.
“Many of you are probably wondering why an old-school PC game developer is crashing the Sony party tonight,” Blizzard’s Chris Metzen said.
He also termed it as a “Strategic partnership between Sony and Blizzard to “take over the world.”
The control schemes have also been optimized. He said that “We have painstakingly optimized our control schemes.”
So far there’s not a lot of information on the game or the auction house, but Metzen revealed that the game is running well on the PS3, and is very smooth.
