Now for all of you Diablo fans who have been waiting eagerly for the release date of the latest in Blizzard’s dungeon crawler franchise, here it is: ‘The next few years’. Yes that’s right people, we won’t be seeing those colourful monsters and treasure troves until at least 2011.
Kokatu reports that during an Activision Blizzard meeting, a slide cropped up showing their latest ideas. Along with Diablo III set to be released no sooner than 2011 are Starcraft II’s expansions and an ‘Unannounced MMO’. Interesting, no?

Diablo III is definitely one of my favorites. There’s rumor that Blizzard is removing the skill tree altogether.
