Dishonored 2 Guide – Cheat Codes, Collectibles Locations, Powers And More

Dishonored 2 is here- and the thing with it is, it’s basically a full fledged expansion of the original game. I mean that in the best way possible- if you liked the original game, then Dishonored 2, which offers more of everything that the first game did, but better, will really appeal to you. Dishonored 2 has the same open ended gameplay, nuanced mechanics, reams of content, and the choices and consequences based mechanics that made the first game so beloved.

Through this guide we are going to cover complete guides for collectibles and locations for all safe combinations, bonecharms, runes, blueprints, decorative objects, paintings, numbered plates for 3 clockwork soldiers, journals, and audiographs.

We have also included cheats and cheat codes for unlimited health, mana, ammo, infinite oxygen, runes and no money. Furthermore, we also take a look at how you can unlock some of the trophies and achievements in the game along with guides for weapons, equipment, enhancements and powers.

Let’s get started.

ALL COLLECTIBLES AND LOCATIONS GUIDE:

ALL SAFE COMBINATION LOCATIONS

In Dishonored 2, you can find a whole lot of safes with all sorts of loot in them- which means you always want to open them, and which, in turn, means you want the combinations to open said safes. That’s where this section of the guide comes in- the videos in the playlist below will help you find all the safe combinations hidden in the game.

Man, this game has a lot of collectibles- a lot of them. In this section of the guide, we’ll list out all the different kinds of collectibles you can find in the game, and also show you where exactly to find specific ones of those. Once again, without further ado, let us begin.

All Bonecharms, Runes, and Blueprints Locations

In each mission of Dishonored 2, you can find yourself some bonecharms, ruins, and blueprints, among other things, as collectibles. This section of the guide covers how to find these through to the end of the fifth mission of the game.

All Decorative Objects

There are 10 Decorative Objects hidden in Dishonored 2– and this section of the guide shows you just how to find all of them.

All Paintings Collectibles

Dishonored 2 doesn’t actually bother to tell you which of the 27 paintings in the game you’ve managed to track down- so getting all of them can be a right pain in the ass, actually. If you miss paintings in a chapter, you basically are out of luck, and need to start the game over, presuming you are trying to hunt all of them down.

With it being so difficult, some help wouldn’t go remiss. Thankfully, help is exactly what we bring with this new video for you below:

All Numbered Plates For 3 Clockwork Soldiers

In Chapter 4, there are three clockwork soldiers that, when defeated in a certain way, drop their numbered plates and let you collect them- just as well, because getting all three gets you an achievement/trophy. The video below shows you how to go about it:

Journals and Audiographs

One of the easier set of collectibles to get your hands on over the course of the game, the video below will nonetheless walk you through getting all of these ones. Remember, only the ones collected in the main hub count- you don’t have to go looking for these in the individual missions.

CHEATS, CHEAT CODES:

As with all Bethesda games, the PC version of Dishonored 2 is extensively open to player tinkering and modifications- this leads to all sorts of cool effects, such as infinite health, infinite mana, no money, unlimited ammo, oxygen, runes, and other such buffs that basically make you invincible, and take the fun entirely out of the game.

But hey, if you want to muck around with this stuff, more power to you. That’s where this video comes in. However a word of caution use the cheat at your own discretion.

EQUIPMENT

Your weapons and powers are well and good, but Dishonored 2 also gives you a vast array of other objects that you can use to get past whatever obstacles the game may throw your way. These include:

Impact Grenade: Standard frag grenade

Sticky Grenade: like a standard impact grenade, but can stick to people and surfaces

Spring Razor: Traps that trigger when an enemy or NPC walks close to them

Stun Mine: Stuns everyone within a certain radius, but does not kill them, making it perfect for non lethal approaches

Rewire Tools: A general purpose tool that lets you reprogram and refit existing things into things more suited to your purpose

WEAPONS

Dishonored 2 divides its weapons into close combat and ranged, but it’s really far simpler to just look at them according to the type of weapon they are- there are only three, of course, given that the game heavily favors a non lethal playthrough, and de-emphasizes weapons over your powers. The three kinds of weapons, and the specific ones of those that you can find, can be found detailed below:
