DmC: Devil May Cry Trailer Showcases Vergil’s Skills

Note: He moves like a demon.

Posted By | On 27th, Dec. 2012

Is Vergil a demon or a human? Is he fighting like a man possessed or as a humane monster? It’s hard to decide with the new character rules that Ninja Theory has set about adding with the upcoming DmC: Devil May Cry, but damn does he look good doing what he does. The footage is from the upcoming DLC, Vergil’s Downfall and showcases the various combos and moves that Vergil can pull off.

If people were disappointed by Dante’s design change, they might appreciate Vergil more. He’s more or less the same, with the same devastating moves – including Yamato’s dimensional slash from Devil May Cry 4 – and a couple of new ones. Combat alternates from ground heavy action and juggles to air time and it’s a treat to watch.

DmC: Devil May Cry will be out this January 15th 2013 for North America and Europe and January 17th for Japan on Xbox 360, PC and Playstation 3.
