Dragon Age: Inquisition New Gameplay Trailer, Screenshots and Details Revealed

Bring about the Inquisition to save the world in Bioware's next.

EA and Bioware have revealed a ton of new gameplay screenshots and artwork for the upcoming Dragon Age: Inquisition, along with a short gameplay trailer showcasing the combat.

The game certainly looks incredible, with new combat mechanics that allow you to grapple enemies with a hook shot of sorts, to either break their guard or dodge to the side and take enemies out one by one. Even the dragons look fairly impressive with improved animations for landing and flying. And to think, the game is still a ways from release. The power of the Frostbite 3 engine is indeed something to behold.

Dragon Age: Inquisition is a sequel to the first game which sees the protagonist forming an Inquisition to defeat the forces of darkness. The game will be open world and release in late 2014 for PS4, Xbox One PC. Check out some off-screen footage from a live demo in which the tactical view is showcased below.
