While we hadn’t heard much about Dragon Quest 11 recently, we’ve recently gotten a large swath of information about what we can expect in the game. We’ve known that the game is coming to the 3DS and the PS4 but we now know that the game is going to be coming to the Nintendo Switch.

While what platforms the game can be played on is interesting, the really interesting part is that the world in the game is said to be rather large. This is according to game director Takeshi Uchikawa who said he wants to make a massive world that is also  going to be comparable to previous chapters in this series.

While Dragon Quest 11 does not have an official release date yet, the development team has said it would like to be able to release the game on or around the 30th anniversary of the Dragon Quest series. Now we’ll just have to wait and see if that goal becomes reality. If it does, it would appear the developers are aiming for release on May 26, 2017.
