Drakengard 3: New Screenshots Reveal Combat, Environments

Check out how the latest dragoon-riding game matches up.

Drakengard 3 was announced recently by Square Enix and will continue the story of dragoons through a pair of twin sisters. Of course, in gameplay terms, Drakengard 3 will still be an action role playing game and focus more on land-based battles than its predecessors.

Today, Access Games has revealed some new screenshots for the same. Check them out below.

The aerial combat will still remain but there will be a balance between battles in the air and on the ground. The more drenched in blood your characters get, the more chance there is to activate the “Utautai” power that will boost their fighting ability.

Other than that, we know that the game will see release some time this year exclusively for PlayStation 3. It will focus on a tale of two sisters with Zero and Wan, the former being of irritable disposition and the latter being the more calm one. Kind of like that Korean horror movie without the twist.
