Duke Nukem Forever gets an 18 certificate

The British Board of Film Classification has given Duke Nukem Forever an 18 rating. The classification board have said that the game contains scenes of strong violence, sex, nudity, language and drug references, but it was passed with no cuts made despite this.

The game also features 19m and 14s of cut-scenes. Having spent over a decade in development, Duke Nukem is set to return on May 6th in the UK.

    Duh!!! It’s tagline speaks miles for its ranting. “It’s time to kick ass, and crew bubble gum.” With something like that, it hard to say it’s for kids.

      Same here. I know that it won’t be some ground-breaking game like some people want, but I think this game is gonna be such a blast to play through, and the Duke humor is absolutely priceless.

    I’m gonna pre-order mine this evening, I recently started replaying Duke 3d Atomic Edition and forgot how much fun it was, even for a game thats almost 15 years old…I hope they keep the humor and pop culture references in the game. Like finding the Doom character in a secret hallway.

    It’ll be interesting to see how they revive this franchise after so long. I’m looking foward to this one: sex, drugs, and rock n roll.
