Dying Light Opening Cinematic Trailer Sets the Story

What's up with the undead? Find out here.

Techland’s Dying Light had an impressive showing in the past few days with multiple gameplay trailers showcasing various aspects of the game like the crafting, stealth, camouflage, how enemies react in the night-time and much more. The newest trailer today highlights the story behind Dying Light – rather, it sets the tone for why all of these infected monsters are after you. Check it out above.

Like a mix of Mirror’s Edge and Dead Island, Dying Light gives players free form movement and the ability to climb, vault and jump over most obstacles. This will come in handy when you’re swarmed by the undead in the day but in the night, the creatures become much more aggressive. They won’t be afraid to climb up after you, given the chance, which is where the camouflage comes in handy.

Dying Light will be releasing in January 2015 for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and PC. Are you looking forward to the game? Let us know in the comments.
